Dr. Wilson specializes in pediatrics, family medicine, hormone health, and mental health.
Eva Wilson, ND, is a compassionate provider who aims, more than anything else, to be a good listener. She received her doctorate of naturopathic medicine from Bastyr University in Seattle, WA. Prior to attending Bastyr, Dr. Wilson graduated with a bachelor’s of science in psychology from Colorado State University.
Dr. Wilson has taken a special interest in women’s health, pediatric health, and mind-body medicine. She considers herself a naturopathic-sleuth, and will ask you a lot of questions to get a better idea of your day-to-day, and she’ll always meet you where you’re at.
Her interest in naturopathic medicine was inspired by her experience working with patients of a residential mental health facility in the mountains of North Carolina. There, she taught the residents how to care for the livestock. During those cold early mornings milking the goats, or hot afternoons fixing fence line, residents connected with their bodies and their emotions in a way that opened Dr. Wilson’s eyes to the power of nature in the healing journey.
In addition to her passion for naturopathic medicine, Dr. Wilson is crazy about growing food. Before her medical training, Dr. Wilson got her hands dirty on various vegetable and animal farms around the country. Most recently, she managed Four Season Farm in Harborside, ME under the supervision of Eliot Coleman, a legendary figure in this country’s small-scale sustainable agriculture movement. Because of this experience, Dr. Wilson knows that access to whole, local foods can play a crucial role in our health.
When she’s not wearing her ND hat, Dr. Wilson can be found enjoying Missoula’s wonderful trails with her loved ones and her energetic dog, Pete.
